Abstract: Brassinosteroids( BRs) are the sixth plant endogenous hormone, and their role in regulating plant growth and development has aroused great concern over the world. This hormone has an extremely low concentration in plant tissue, especially in fruits where the matrix is highly complicated, and it is quite difficult to extract efficiently and analyze precisely. Recent methods for extraction and analysis of plant BRs were reviewed, and their advantages and disadvantages compared. This review might provide useful information for analysis of brassinosteroids in fruits.
