  • In this report, SiO2 sol gel prepared with the cheap water glass was mixed and coagulated with nature rubber latex to prepare the SiO2/NR composite. The properties of composites were investigated by TG and DMA. The results showed that dispersion of SiO2 solgel particles in NR matrix increased and interface compatability between NR and SiO2 improved. The thermal stability and mechanical properties of composites were improved.

Abstract: In this report, SiO2 sol gel prepared with the cheap water glass was mixed and coagulated with nature rubber latex to prepare the SiO2/NR composite. The properties of composites were investigated by TG and DMA.
